Color etching of Walt Disney’s Mickey Mouse in Fantasia on wove paper in mint condition & safely packaged/stored in drawer since purchased. This hand-colored etching of Disney’s critically acclaimed Fantasia featuring Mickey Mouse as Sorcerer’s Apprentice was created in 2004. The strikingly designed etching is signed in pencil & numbered from numbered proof of 2500. Each etching has unique variation. This original hand painted etching was created with a steel engraving needle, scratched by the artist into a varnish covered zine or copper plate. In an acid bath, the etch is created to desired depth. Following completion of the etch process, the plate is cleaned & hand inked. Printing is then done with hand driven printing press on wet handmade paper. After drying, etchings are lovingly hand colored & watercolored. Etching comes with Certificate of Authenticity (COA).
